Memorial Weekend

We had a very fun and busy Memorial Day weekend. First, we went to see Hannah play in her softball tournament. She pitched great!! Carson had a lot of fun playing with Emily, Rachel, Erik, and Josh.



Then we went to Glenn and Amanda's for lunch and got to see little Addison again!



On Sunday, we went for a big family lunch to Gringo's to celebrate my mom's birthday.


Then, afterward we headed to Aunt Marilu's and Uncle Buddy's for some delicious barbecue. Carson got to play with his other new cousin, Camryn, who is 6 months old.

Carson was a little hyper since he had just eaten an ice cream cone at Gringo's, but luckily Aunt Marilu gave him some Mardi Gras beads to play with that Carson just loved! We all had a great time!

Welcome Baby Addison!!

We were so excited to finally meet Addison! Congratulations to Glenn and Amanda!! Carson loves his new cousin!!

Congratulations Carrie and Kellie!!

On Saturday, we went to Carrie and Kellie's graduation. Congratulations to both of them for getting their associates from San Jac! I came armed with toys, books, and snacks for Carson during the graduation. He did pretty good, but Carrie did say she was able to hear him "roar" a couple times while she was down on the floor with the rest of the graduates. Haha!

Houston Aeros

Carson had so much fun going to see the Aeros playoff game. We won 2-0. I brought a whole bag of toys to keep Carson entertained, but he didn't even require a single toy. He loved watching all the action on the ice!!

BIg Boy Bed

We moved Carson into a big boy bed about 2 weeks ago. We were having problems getting him to sleep in his crib anymore. He only wanted to sleep in our bed. (We should have never let him start sleeping in there but he was sick and we felt sorry for him and now there's no going back!!) The transition to the big boy bed started out smoothly. He loved sleeping in his "new bed." Then, the AC broke and his room got super hot so he had to sleep in our bed (the fan in his room doesn't work). Now, the AC is fixed but he won't go back into his bed. Today, we were taking a walk around the block and I asked Carson if he was hot. He said "new bed hot."

Carson and Jude

Carson and Jude got to play for a little bit when Renee and Jude came to visit a couple weeks ago. They brought Carson some adorable PJs and robe for his birthday. They also got a matching pair for Jude so we dressed them alike and took pictures. So cute!
