Legoland!

Thanks to Carrie and her flight attendant perks, my mom, Erik, Emily, Carson, and I got to take a quick 2 night trip to San Diego to visit Lego Land. On the way to the airport, I thought there was no way we'd get to fly standby on the completely booked flight, but we gave it a chance and it paid off. Legoland was so much fun! They had so many fun rides and the lego structures were amazing! The second day we checked out the aquarium adjacent to legoland which was also a lot of fun!! I will definitely have to take another trip here!!

Noah's Ark Pool

I took Carson to meet his friend Luke at Noah's Ark Pool. The boys had a blast. They couldn't get enough of the water slides! We ate lunch at the concession stand and then Carson fell asleep 5 minutes into the drive home and took a very long nap.

RV fun

Carson loves going to Grandma and Grandpa's RV on Crystal Beach. Here's a couple pictures of when we spent the day up there. Carson has gotten spend the night there three times already!!

Playdate at Langdon's

The other day, Carson and I went to a fun playdate at his friend Langdon's house. They had a waterslide set up that was a blast for the kids! Carson spent the majority of the playdate playing with Langdon's awesome train set!!

Soccer!!

Last week, Carson started soccer with the YMCA. Despite how much Carson talked about soccer and was so excited about practice, he got really shy during the first practice and wouldn't participate at all. He had a huge support system there (Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Aunt Carrie, Erik, and Emily) and the only time he would participate at all is when cousin Erik would go out there with him. He spent most of the time playing soccer with all of us on the sidelines. Luckily, he made drastic improvements during the second practice. He was starting to act shy when we first got there, but his coach came up there and started talking to him and got him all excited. Carson started telling her how he was "super fast" and then he went out there and had a blast! We'll see how next week goes!

Vacation Bible School

This was Carson's first year to get to participate in the actual VBS program instead of just playing all day. He did very well. My mom and I taught the "Chadder's Theater" section and Carson though it was pretty funny that his mommy was also his teacher. Each day, the kids met in an auditorium and sang and danced to some songs. By the end of the week, Carson could sing along to parts of the songs and knew a few of the dance moves.

Splashing with Jude

We went visit Renee and Jude the other day. Renee had set up a little toddler paradise in her backyard with a swimming pool and a slip n slide. The boys had a ton of fun. Carson was definitely not ready to go home.
