Santa!

We had so much fun at Steven and Stephanie's Christmas party! When we got there, Steven was dressed up in a Santa suit!! Santa had presents for all the kids. It was such a fun party. Afterward, we drove around Pecan Grove (I think?!) and looked at the best Christmas lights I've ever seen!

Wagon Ride

Steven Richard came to visit for a little while! It was a little cold, but we decided to bundle the boys up and take them for a wagon ride. They have so much fun playing together!

Balls!!

When Aunt Carrie was over, we decided to try out Carson's ball pit moonwalk toy that we got Carson for his first birthday. It took a little while, but eventually he got in and was having so much fun! That is, until Daddy accidentally knocked out the power cord and the moonwalk started to deflate. Carson didn't want anything to do with the moonwalk after that!

We love the zoo!

This is Carson and his friend Walter at the Houston Zoo. Carson had so much fun petting the goats. He was extra-talkative today. He kept pointing to all the goats and saying "goats." He thought it was especially funny to sit on a bench next to a goat. He also said "zoo," "shoe," and "no more" for his first time today. Yay!

Happy Halloween!

Here are just a couple pictures of Carson all dressed up. We had a great Halloween. Someone came in early for me that day at work so I got off at 6pm. We visited with Erik's family first and then headed to my parents to visit and go trick or treating with Steven Richard. Carson was a cowboy for Halloween. I had originally bought him a cookie monster outfit, but I could only manage to get him to wear that one for 3 minutes while eating a sucker. The rest of the time he was a cowboy. We had so much fun!

I will try to add more pictures once I figure out how to steal them off Steven and Stephanie's blog. (I accidentally thew a pumpkin on top of my camera and broke it so I am relying on other people's cameras right now!)

Toys for Tots

Today we went to Toys for Tots where you donate a new toy for a good cause and then you get to check out the Pearland Fire Truck and Police Motorcycle and meet some local heroes! Carson's favorite part was pressing the siren button on the police motorcycle!

Children's Museum

Carson and I took our first trip to the Tot Spot at the Children's Museum. It was so much fun. He had so much fun in the pretend car. There was so much to do there. We can't wait to go back!

Centennial Park

First haircut

We went to Cool Cuts 4 Kids for Carson's first haircut. It was great. First, he got to pick out a movie to watch. (He picked Elmo!) Then, he got to sit in a car while they cut his hair. They did a great job. His haircut is so cute. He looks all grown up now!

Ike hits!

We lost a lot of tree branches and part of our back fence fell down. But our actual house wasn't damaged at all so I definitely feel lucky! Here's a few pics before the cleanup...

And here's a few pics after hours and hours and hours of cleanup...

Happy Birthday!

Carrie made this delicious cookie cake for my birthday! We ate it during birthday-game night at Erin's. It was a great birthday!

Pool Time!

Carson's playgroup met up for a baby pool party. It was lots of fun!

Xander's 1st birthday party!

Xander is one of Carson's friends from his playgroup. We got to go to his 1st birthday party and we had such a great time! It was train-themed and of course, Carson loves trains! All the kids got conductor hats. They even rented a trackless train that gave train rides around their neighborhood pond! Carson loved it!

Aunt Dawn come to visit

Ma, Aunt Dawn, Josh, and Rachel came to visit on Wednesday. Carson had fun getting to play with everyone. He loves parties! Ashlin and Evan were even there!

Take me out to the ball game...

On Tuesday, we went to see the Astros get slaughtered by the Pirates. Carson got to play in the "squeeze play" for his first time. Its a bunch of tunnels and slides for the kids to play in. After they kicked me off the play structure (kids only!), Erik and Emily helped take Carson all the way to the top and then slid down with him. He had so much fun.

The first of many!

Aunt Carrie took Carson on his first ice cream outing! Carrie is famous for taking all the neices and nephews out for ice cream. Needless to say, Carson is very excited about this!

4th of July

We went to a little parade in Pearland. Then, we headed to Steven and Stephanie's for swimming, eating, and FIREWORKS! We had a great time! Carson was so worn out by the time that we shot fireworks that he fell asleep during the loudest fireworks.

Swimming lessons

Carson started swimming lessons on Monday. He just loves being in the pool. He has already learned how to put his whole head under water. He is a natural.
