Family picutre

Ed took this great family picture at Ma and Pa's last Sunday. Thanks Ed!

Santa!

I finally took Carson to see Santa today. We went to the Bass ProShop with has a great Winter Wonderland set up! Carson was a little scared of Santa for a second but after they talked about his toy tractor for a few minutes, Carson decided he could trust Santa afterward. He sat on his lap with a big smile and told Santa he wanted a dino for Christmas.

Afterward, we ran into Carson's friend, Walter, who was also there to see Santa. They played around on a boat for a little while and had a lot of fun!

Pajama Playdate

Yesterday, we met some friends for a breakfast, pajama playdate. Breakfast was delicious and the kids were so cute in their pajamas! Carson and I both had a great time!

Christmas at Ma and Pa's!

On Sunday, we went to Ma and Pa's to celebrate Christmas. As always, we had a blast. Carson always loves to see his cousins. It was especially great to get to see William who was home after spending a year away in Japan with the Marine Corps.

Happy Birthday Jack!

Carson's friend, Jack, had an awesome party at the Museum of Natural Sciences. The kids got to look at all the dinosaurs, pet a real live tortoise and lizard, eat cake and ice cream, and then finished it up with some toddler races. It was great!!

Snow Day!!

I got to stay home from work on Snow Day so Carson and I spent the day playing in the snow. This set a record for the earliest it has ever snowed in Houston. What a fun day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Birthday Camryn!

We went to Camryn's first birthday party on Saturday. Camryn got a retired party pony for her birthday so they had pony rides at the party. It was great!!

Tour de Southdown

We met Carson's play group on Friday for tour de Southdown, where all the kids brought the tricycles and rode around the park. Carson rode his motorcycle for about 5 minutes and spent the rest of the time playing ball! The kids had so much fun together. Thanks to Corrie for taking all these great pics! (I forgot my camera).

Tumble Weeds

Carson started Tumble Weeds last Friday. Here is a little video medley of some of the things they did. This is the first class that doesn't require parent participation so I got to sit in the watching room. It was so adorable to watch all the kids.

Trick or Treating

Carson got to go trick or treating twice!

First, we went around The Heights with Renee and Jude. By this point, Carson had destroyed his scooby doo costume. Lukily, Renee had an extra dino costume that fit him. Jude was a super-cute Cookie Monster!

Then, we met all the cousins at my parents' house to do some trick-or-treating in Green Tee. Everyone looked great and had a lot of fun!

Zoo Boo

We had a great time at zooboo. It was so fun to look at all the kids in their different costumes. Of course, Carson and Steven Richard were the cutest!! We ran into 3 other scooby doo's. It was too funny. The kids had a blast!

Pumpkin Carving Party

Erin and Ed hosted their annual pumpkin carving party on Thursday. I think this may have been the funnest one yet. Stephanie bought paint for Steven Richard and Carson to paint their pumpkins. They had so much fun doing that!! The pumpkins turned out great! Little Erik brought home the trophy for "Best Pumpkin 2009!"

Pumpkin Patch

We went to St Andrews pumpkin patch to take a few pictures and pick out some pumpkins for the pumpkin party. They have the best pumpkin patch!

Ar-BOO-retum

On Saturday, Carson and I went wIth Renee and Jude to the Arboretum for Ar-BOO-retum. It was so much fun. The arboretum is beautiful. I can't believe I had never heard of it. Carson and Jude had a great time. There were games, moonwalks, pony rides, trick or treating, rope ladders, and more. It is the best halloween event I have been to!

Houston Aeros

I got some free tickets to the Aeros game from work so Erik and I took Carson. We got to meet Chilly, the mascot!

The Park

A couple weeks ago, I got to babysit Steven Richard for the day. We went with Carson's playgroup to the downtown library to try out their story time. Carson's attention span still isn't quite long enough for story time. After the story, they had an arts and crafts project that Carson and Steven Richard both loved.

Afterward, we went with Renee and Jude to the park in the Heights. We had a picnic lunch and let the boys play. We had so much fun!

Wild Wheels

Today, I took Carson and Steven Richard to the zoo to go on the wild wheels tour with Carson's playgroup. Today's theme was animals that live in trees. We got to see birds, monkeys, and a leopard. Afterward, the got to touch a real live bird. It was a lot of fun. Carson's favorite part (as usual) was the carousel! The boys were so good and they wore themselves out. They both fell asleep on the way home.
