Santa!!

We met Steven, Stephanie, and Steven Richard at Bass Pro Shop to meet Santa. The line was pretty long, but luckily they had lots of fun activities to keep the boys occupied while we waited.

They did remote control cars:

Shot crossbows:

Visited the "North Pole"

Mailed letters to Santa:

Finally, they got to meet Santa!! Carson told him that he wanted "super heros" and Steven Richard told him he wanted a "Randy train." We are still trying to figure out what a "Randy train" is!!

We finished up the day by trying out all the tents, four wheelers, boats, and finally Uncle Steve carried out both the boys!!

So much fun!!

Jude's 3rd birthday and trick-or-treating

On Halloween, we went to Jude's 3rd birthday party and then did some trick or treating around The Heights.

Zoo Boo part 2 and ArBOOretum

Steven, Stephanie, and I were very ambitious a few weeks ago and decided to do Zoo Boo and ArBOOretum all in one day!! It was so much fun, and definitely exhausting!!

We started out at the zoo:

And then headed to the arboretum to meet Renee and Jude. We did the trick or treat trail where there they have a bunch of cute nature-related game.

Here, Carson is pretending to be an owl and looking for things that owls eat:

Then, they walked along a rope like a possum:

And did a zip line:

Then, he pretended to be a bee and looked for pollen:

And climbed up a "spider's web":

Zoo Boo

Today we went with Granny, Grand-daddy, Aunt Amanda, Uncle Glenn, and Addison to Zoo Boo.

We started out at the dinos:

Then we went to the children's zoo to check out the prarie dog hole and the goats:

They painted pumpkins:

And went through the tunnel

We had a great time looking at all the animals

We ended it up with a train ride around Hermann Park. Carson insisted on riding next to Addison so Uncle Glenn and Aunt Amanda let him squeeze in!

What a great day at the zoo!

Itty Bitty Halloween Party

On Saturday, I took Carson to a super fun Halloween party at his friend Grace's house.
Here he is checking out Walter and Zoey's costumes.

Carson spend most of his time in the bounce house!

At the end of the night, the kids took turns with a pinata that would never bust! Finally, the daddy's took turns hitting it until it busted!

We both had such a great time at the party!

Wonder Wild Birthday Party

I took Carson to Wonder Wild to celebrate Walter, Luke, Hudson, and JG's birthday! Here's a cute picture I caught of him on the blow up slide.

San Antonio!!

At the end of July, we took a 3 night family trip to San Antonio.

On the first day, we went to Sea World. Carson loved the shows and got to ride his first roller coaster. He LOVED the roller coaster. Luckily, he is tall for his age, so he just made the limit on a couple of the roller coasters.

The next day, we went to Fiesta Texas. They had a great Wiggles World based on The Wiggles which Carson used to be obsessed with. We got to watch a Wiggles show and ride a few small rides there.

"Say Wiggles!"

"Okay, now just say cheese!"

Roller Coasters with Daddy

Driving "The Big Red Car"

Meeting the Wiggles

After that, we spent the rest of the day riding lots and lots of rides. At the end of the day, we let him play a carnival game where everyone won a cape. He won this great Batman cape! After that, he did not want to be called Carson. He kept telling us his name was Batman!

We spent the 3rd day going to see the Alamo and on the Riverwalk. We rode the riverboat which I had never done before. It was very interesting.

Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better trip! We had so much fun!!
