Pizza Night

Carson and I made our own pizza for dinner tonight. Carson sampled each thing as he put it on. It was very fun to make pizzas together and they turned out delicious! We will definitely do this again!

Ice Age 3

Erik and I took Carson to his first movie. We went to see Ice Age 3. With the help of popcorn, coke, and twizzlers we were able to keep Carson in the theater for most of the movie. But we did have to make 3 quick trips out to the arcade game to give him a little break. I think I'll wait a while before taking him to his next movie.

Go Astros!

Last week, we went to see the astros play with my mom and dad, erin, ed and the kids, and steven and steven richard. Carson had a great time. We took a break in the 7th inning to go to the squeeze play where Carson was all over the place! Afterward, they had fireworks. Carson said he loved the fireworks more than he loves baseball. I was so happy I got to see fireworks with him since I had to work on July 4th.

Galveston!

On Thursday night, we made an impromtu overnight trip to the beach. I was mentioning to Carson that we needed to take something to his friend, Gabriel's, house. He always associates Gabriel with the beach after they went to Moody Gardens Palm Beach together. So, of course, he asked to go to the beach. This sounded like a great idea! Erik wasn't feeling well so I talked to my mom up and she also thought it sounded fun. Next thing I know, Me, Carson, my mom, Erin, Ed, Erik, Emily, Steven, Stephanie, and Steven Richard were all heading to Galveston! We stayed at Casa del Mar. We had fun at the beach and the pool. Emily even brought a cake that she had just made at home. She saw it on a cooking show and wrote down all the ingredients and then made it. It was delicious. It was a very fun beach trip. Great idea Carson!

Splash Park with the Cousins

My mom and I took the four cousins to the splash pad to play. Everyone loved it! Afterward, we headed to McDonald's for some happy meals and to play on the toys. It was a fun day!

Chuck E Cheese

Carson went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time for his friend Lily's 4th birthday party. He had so much fun. I think his favorite part was actually putting the token into the machine. It made him feel very important! For the first week after the birthday party, he would ask to go to Chuck E Cheese every time he saw a commercial or coupons in the newspaper. We haven't made it back yet...

Zoo!

Erin and I took Carson, Erik, and Emily to the zoo. As usual, we had a blast. This is the kids getting ready to watch the sea lion show!
