Happy Birthday Rhett!

Carson and I went to the Little Gym for his friend, Rhett's, first birthday party. We had never been to the little gym, and it was so much fun! We are going back on Friday for a free intro class!

Starting school!

Today, we signed Carson up for daycare at the Primrose school. We always knew Grandma couldn't be the full time babysitter forever, and we decided that Carson is old enough for daycare now. He will start on February 2nd. He'll only be 22 months old but they are going to go ahead and let him start in the 2 yr old class. Today we went and toured his room. Carson loved it. When we left the classroom, he kept saying "more, more, more" and pointing into the classroom. Then, he got upset when we left the school. Hopefully those are good signs that he will be happy here. Thanks Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Erin, Uncle Ed, and Aunt Carrie for all y'alls babysitting help!!

Playing in the backyard

I have been searching craigslist daily for months looking for the perfect little tikes thing for our backyard and I finally found one! We picked it up last week but Carson has been fighting a nasty virus and didn't get to play on it until today. It was love at first sight!

Sleepover!

Erik and Emily spent the night with Carson this weekend. Carson stayed awake until 10:30. He has never stayed awake so late but he just didn't want to miss out on any fun. We played with all of Carson's new Christmas toys. Then we pulled out the sleeper sofa and all squeezed in. The dogs thought there should be plenty of room for 4 people and 3 dogs on there, but we had to kick the dogs off! We watched Wall E (of course I feel asleep 10 minutes into it) and then we went to bed.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's!

We spent Christmas afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's. Carson had fun opening presents, playing with his cousins, and checking out Grandma's new Christmas train.






Then he tried out Mr. Potato Head's hats on Uncle Mike's new puppy...

Christmas Eve

We had all the Powell's over for Christmas Eve. It was a lot of fun visiting with everyone. Carson had a lot of fun opening all of his great presents. And Mike and Christine shared their exciting news... Congrats on the engagement!!

Christmas at Ma and Pa's!

Carson had a lot of fun at Ma and Pa's christmas party (despite being a little sick). He loved all of his presents. Carson and Steven Richard had fun trying out the sit-n-spin. Carson even won the door prize drawing and won a Thomas Kincaid calendar! Haha!
