Swimming at Aunt Marianne's!

Wyatt got to go swimming for his first time on Memorial Day at Aunt Marianne's! He only last about 5 minutes in his floatie, but he really loved being carried around in the water.

Happy Easter!

We had a very fun Easter! We got all dressed up for church and the boys looked so handsome!! Then, we went to my parents' for an Easter brunch and to Erik's parents' for an Easter lunch. Yum!

Carson was able to tell me the story of Jesus' resurrection after church. I had him re-tell the story for a little movie, Unfortunately, I ran out of memory space on my camera for the end of the story but here's what I got...

Easter Egg Hunt

Aunt Marilu and Uncle Buddy held a very fun family egg hunt on Easter weekend. They had egg dying, cooking decorating, and egg hunting! We all had such a great time!

Wyatt and Cody were very cute hanging out in the playpen together while the big kids hunted eggs!

Happy Birthday Carson!

We had a great time celebrating Carson's 4th birthday at Centennial Park! Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pictures until the very end when I snapped this cute picture of Wyatt!

Bluebonnets 2011!

Bayou Bend

Renee and I took the boys to the azalea trail at Bayou Bend to take some pictures. They stay open until 5 so we showed up at 4:20 which we thought would be just enough time to snap a few good pictures. Unfortunately, although they are open until 5, they don't let people in after 4:15 and they would not budge on this rule! So, we took a few pictures from the front of bayou bend and then headed to take some pictures in front of Renee's beautiful flower beds!!

Happy Birthday Steven Richard!

We all had a blast at Steven Richard's 3rd birthday party! All the kids got a pair of Mickey Mouse ears to wear!!

Livestock Show

Today, Stephanie and I took the boys to the Houston Livestock show. We started out at Fun on the Farm where Carson collected wool, veggies, milk, and eggs; and then sold them at the farmer's market for a "dollar," and then bought a capri sun with his dollar.

We visited the petting zoo.

Rode ponies

Visited the butterfly gardens.

Rode the ferris wheel

And ended it up with the tea cups.

What a fun (and very exhausting) day!!!

Camping with Daddy

The city of Pearland hosted a family camp-out at Independence Park so Erik took Carson on his first camp-out.

Carson played with his friends Luke and Xander who were camping with their Daddies.

Carson had fun playing with his flashlight in the tent.

They roasted marshmellows over the campfire to make smores.

Carson was excited to sleep in his spiderman sleeping bag.

Carson came home Sunday morning and was so excited to tell me about his great trip. He can't wait for his next camp-out.

Zoo trip!

Wyatt had his first trip to the zoo!! Carson, Wyatt, and I met up with Jamie and Henry and had a great time! I started out organized with both kids in the double stroller but that only lasted 30 minutes. The rest of the time I held Wyatt, Carson walked, and I pushed an empty giant double stroller! Needless to say, that is the double strollers last trip to the zoo!! We ended up the day with a fun train ride around Hermann Park!

Winterfest

On Saturday, we met Steven, Stephanie, and Steven Richard at winterfest. It was so much fun!

We rode the school bus shuttle over to winterfest. Carson kept his hands up while we went on a bridge like we were on a roller coaster. He said it was his lucky day to get to ride a school bus!!

Carson and Steven Richard had a blast throwing snowballs at Uncle Steve:

And riding the snow hill:

They rode ponies and did the carousel and loved the ball pit!!

Wyatt slept through most of the fun!

Can't wait for next year!!
